I am finally getting around to doing some updating. I decided to do a few posts rather than one long one, which hopefully makes for easier reading.
Anyway, the ski season ended today! I feel like it went by so fast! I am going to miss everyone I have been working with. I have made good friends and lots of great memories!
My time at Deer Valley is not over yet though. I was rehired to be an Academy teacher (the preschool/daycare program DV runs the whole school year) in the infant room. So I am switching gears from the 2-year olds to the little babies and I'm excited and looking forward to the change. So I will still be working at DV until June 4th...and then I am taking the rest of the summer off to plan the rest of the wedding, the move, spend time with family and friends, etc.
The wedding planning is moving along...we have a wedding website now for anyone who is interested with event details, pictures of us, our "story," registry info, and a guest book you should all sign!

Happy Birthday John!
We celebrated John's birthday in Park City this year. We were able to eat at the Seafood Buffet at Deer Valley which was so, so good. We don't dress up and go out very often, so it was great to enjoy a fancy dinner together.
We stayed the night in PC, got to sleep in and then headed to the Canyons for some skiing/boarding. The weather was generally good, but a little windy, but we had a great time. We try to go to the Canyons every year because we get a free lift ticket for attending the Warren Miller ski film, which is what we did for our first date, so it's become one of our traditions.
This post is late, but I just want to say Happy Birthday again to John. I am so grateful he is a part of my life and I'm so excited for all the adventures we are yet to have. He is such a strong, supportive, and loving fiance and my best friend and I love him so much!

I am slow, but I was waiting until both moms had posted these birth announcements first...and then I still took my time.
Anyway, I am an aunt again, and again!
In other very exciting news, I will be an aunt for the 7th time on or around 10/10/10 when my sister Rachel and her husband Dan welcome their first baby (and maybe my first nephew...we will see)!
